We are launching a new feature on the Blog today. When the mood strikes we are going to post pictures from the past. Here are some from 2002 when Annee and Hayden looked a bit different than they do now.

Birthday Girl!

Monday was Heather's turn to celebrate her birthday. The kids got to encroach on her birthday a bit because they received a couple of late packages in the mail. The birthday was a welcome break from working on the house. Rumor has it that the chef did a wonderful job on the cake! We hope to have more house pictures up later this week.

More Weekend Fun

With the help of some aspirin we have made it through the weekend. With Cy and Peggy's help we were able to make quite a bit of progress. In addition to working on the house, Annee should be starting softball and Hayden should be starting baseball soon. Annee is on a team with girls from Briarwood, but we are still awaiting news on what team Hayden is playing on. Below are some pictures from the weekend.

Grandma Peggy and Grandpa Cy

Grandma Peggy and Grandpa Cy are visiting this weekend and we have put them to work. We are getting closer to getting the house ready and they have been a tremendous help. We did some planting and a mulching outside and Grandpa Cy changed out several light fixtures. We also had a brief birthday celebration when they arrived on Friday. Grandpa Cy's birthday is one day before Annee and Hayden's. A&H got Stomp Walkers. It has taken them a bit of practice but they are figuring them out. Below are a couple of pictures and the first videos to be posted on the blog.

Annee & Hayden Turn 7

Annee and Hayden continued their birthday celebration on Sunday. We found time to open presents before and after church. They had their birthday lunch at Shogun where they received a drum pounding birthday salute. We also went to The Race to Witch Mountain before returning home to make some more treats for school on Monday.

Now Hayden will be able to keep his basketball cards in one book and his football cards in another. He is not sure if he is going to start a baseball card collection yet.

Birthday Party

Annee and Hayden spent part of their last day as six year olds at their birthday party at Paintin' Place. Below are a heaping helping of photos from the party. After the party we joined the Kash family for pizza. We will celebrate A&H's actual birthday as a family on Sunday.
