Hog Wild - A Morning at the Pig Races

Students who sold 10 tubs of cookie dough during a recent Briarwood Fundraiser receive a toy pig and were able to race it for prizes. While the Lasley kids combined for a total of 0 tubs sold, Annee was able to race her friend Reyna's pig for her (she was on vacation in Florida). Below are a couple of pictures from the race!

This Week

New new pictures this week so we are just posting a brief update. Heather's Aunt Judy and Uncle George stopped through on Thursday. We gave them a brief tour of Bowling Green and enjoyed dinner with them. The Schlinsog's also stopped by yesterday. They used to live down the street from us but are now in New Albany, Indiana. Annee and Hayden had a good time playing with Evan and Matthew. We've been busy with softball and baseball practices. We should be getting game schedules soon. Just a bit over a month until the pool opens! Annee and Hayden are getting excited. Hope to have new pictures later this week!

Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter! We woke up early to see if the Easter Bunny had made a visit. Of course, he did not disappoint. After church the Kash family is coming over to join us for Easter dinner.

Touring with Grandma and Grandpa

We spent Saturday before Easter as tourists. We stopped by Abraham Lincoln's birthplace near Hodgenville. He spend his first few years there before moving just down the road to Knob Creek. After a bit of history we made our way to Bardstown which is the Bourbon Capital of the World. We took the tour at Heaven Hill Distilleries and their Bourbon Heritage Center. Annee and Hayden had lots of questions for the tour guide. Each one of the metal warehouses stores about 20,000 barrels of bourbon. Grandma Connee particularly enjoyed the tasting after the tour.

Losing Teeth and Almost Ready

Hayden lost another tooth this week so he is missing both of his top ones. We are getting closer on the house. Below are some pictures of the outside. We'll get some of the inside up later this week. We are working on the paperwork and hope to get the house listed on Monday.
