Field Trip and Home Tour

Heather, Annee, and Hayden are on a field trip today. They went to see Snow White at the Capital Theatre and are making a visit to the WKU Planetarium. They are also having lunch at CiCi's where they get to top their own pizzas. Below is a link for a video tour of construction on our house. It is from Saturday. They have also been able to get some work done this week. A picture from this morning is also included. Girl Scout cookies are here. If you ordered them, I am sure that Annee or one of her representatives will be contacting you soon.

Weekend Update

Made it through another weekend. The Lasley kids had another double double on Saturday. Both Annee and Hayden were in double figures scoring this week. Their final game is this upcoming Saturday. A&H both fared better than their Dad. I made my return to the intramural court after almost a five year break. I was the oldest player on the court and it showed. The good news is that I survived. Heather had practice today in preparation for Briarwood's March Madness. I believe that Briarwood's team of teachers will be playing a team from Natcher Elementary this year. After signing Annee up for softball this afternoon, Hayden and I made it to our first WKU baseball game of the season. Once we get past this evening the week looks pretty good for weather and work on the house.

Hayden has started drawing hockey logos. He is hard at work on the Vancouver Canucks logo in this picture.

Progress!

Work on the house started up again this week with at least three days of work on it. We need to pick a front door this weekend. Annee and Hayden have hoops tomorrow. WKU MBB and WBB had senior night on Wednesday and Thursday. Their final three games are on the road before the conference tournament. We all made it for the Women and Hayden and I made it to the Men - Aneee had Girls Scouts. Cookies should be here next week!

Happy Valentine's Day

We are having a low key Valentine's Day. After church we went to lunch at Montana Grille and then came home and took a nap. Annee and Hayden both had excellent basketball games yesterday. It was definitely the Lady Longhorns and Annee's best game of the year. The Commodores dominated much of their game. The margin would have probably been at least 30. Signed Hayden up for baseball last weekend and will sign Annee up for softball next weekend. A&H had a babysitter on Friday night. First time in several months. Got to go to a movie with my Valentine. Below are flowers that Heather got for Valentine's Day. Wish I could claim credit, but they are from Grandpa Cy. It's a tradition that he sends her flowers for Valentine's Day every year.

Book Parade and Winter Strikes Again

Winter has struck again. H, A, and H have their 8th day off today. WKU even closed. Fortunately the WBB is still on for tonight. Briarwood had their Book Character Parade yesterday. Annee went as Amber Brown from Amber Brown Is Not a Crayon, while Hayden was Captain Underpants. We made it through another week of basketball. Hayden's team played much tougher competition which was a good change of pace. Annee participated in a Girl Scouts dance clinic with the WKU Topperettes a couple of Sundays ago. The girls got to perform during halftime. Progress continues on the house although it is being slowed by the darn weather. Hopefully it will stay nice for while.
