We wrapped up birthday month with Heather's birthday on Wednesday the 23rd. We actually kicked off festivities on Tuesday evening with her birthday dinner at Shogun. Now that we are done with March birthdays we can start the preparation for mine! A&H had a dance with a hula theme on Friday. Heather worked at it while I worked on our taxes. A&H got a good review from the dentist today. They see the eye doctor on Friday.

March Madness
Made it through Annee's slumber party. Had a total of 12 girls spend the night and we are pretty confident that all of them got at least 3 hours of sleep. Things went pretty well. The girls had a dance contest, made their own pizzas, frosted cupcakes, and watched a movie. To top it off I got to make about 50 pancakes this morning.

9!
We celebrated Annee & Hayden's birthday on Tuesday. It is a bit hard to believe that they are already 9 years old. Instead of going out to eat, they chose to have steak and baked potatoes at home. They will have their parties this weekend. Annee is having a dozen girls for a sleep over on Friday. Hayden is going to the WKU baseball game on Saturday for his party. The other big news is that Heather and I spent our first night together away from the kids. We headed down to Nashville for an evening. Had a good time at the bars on Broadway and we hit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum on Saturday before coming back to Bowling Green. Grandma Connee was here for the weekend, so A&H didn't miss us. Hayden has started baseball practice and Annee should be starting soon as well.

It is Baseball and Softball Season!
The Hawks season ended like Annee's roller skating adventure last week - with a thud! They lost to the Spurs in the first round of the playoffs so it is now time for baseball and softball. Hayden has tryouts on Monday and Annee's are on the following Sunday. Both are playing kid pitch so it will be quite an adventure this year.
