Heather and Annee's volleyball season came to a close on Saturday. They had another successful year losing just one match for the second straight year. She has a week or two off before basketball starts. Annee also participated in her first indoor swim meet. The competition is a bit stiffer than she generally faced this summer. She swam the 100 Free, 50 Breast, 100 Back, 50 Fly, and swam on a 200 Medley Relay. The 50 Fly seemed to be her strongest event. She is probably going to swim again in two weeks at a meet in Owensboro. In football, the Colts ran their record to 7-0 with a 42-14 win over the Giants. They have three more regular season games including a big one next Saturday against the Steelers. Hayden's friend Patrick joined Hayden and I at WKU's Homecoming game against Louisiana-Lafayette. WKU won their third straight game, but more importantly it was their first home win since 2008. Hayden & Patrick joined the crowd that stormed the field after the win.

Wow, Annee!! Great swimming! I can't wait to see you do this when we're there. I hope you remember how to swim in the winter!
And you and Hayden are both such good team members. I can see why the other kids appreciate you so much. We're looking forward to seeing you both do more of this when we come out.
