National Mall - "A Long Walk"

In our infinite wisdom, we decided to walk from the Captiol down to the Lincoln Memorial following our tour. While it is a great walk, it should not be mistaken for a short one when you have hungry kids. We made our way down to the White House area for a picture and lunch. We are big fans of a half smoke and a coke. We also bought some t-shirts and Annee bought a bag that proved to be quite useful. After the photo op and shopping detour, we hit the memorials and monuments including the WWII, Korean, and Vietnam memorials. We also made our stop at the Lincoln Memorial. It was our first time seeing the completed WWII Memorial. It is an excellent addition to the Mall. Below are pictures from our walking adventure.

The WWII Memorial was very impressive. It is between the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial.
